This is a great opportunity to work with one of the top directors in the country, in a top-quality show that promises to be huge fun for all. In particular, we are looking for people of a ‘playing age’ of between 17 and 30, to play the ‘boy friends’ and ‘girl friends’.

Wednesday 23rd April is opening night of Thoroughly Modern Millie, so good luck to everyone and ‘break a leg’!

After winning precisely nothing at last year’s Somerset Fellowship of Drama Awards, members of TAOS were in apprehensive mood last night as they gathered at Rookery Manor’s glittery ballroom for the 2007 award ceremony.

Nerves were heightening as the early gongs seemed to be going to Weston’s Sweeney Todd, Strode’s Thoroughly Modern Millie, and all sorts of shows from Wells Little Theatre and Crewkerne. Surely we couldn’t miss out entirely again?
